How do lasers remove hair?

GentleMax Pro emits powerful pulses of laser energy that targets the pigment in your hair follicles. The energy destroys the hair shaft at the root and damages the cells in follicles that promote hair growth.

Laser hair removal is most effective when your hair is at the earliest stage of growth, known as the anagen stage. At any point in time, only a fraction of your hairs is in that anagen phase. You will need several treatments spaced out over time to catch each hair in its anagen stage.
